One of the biggest topics in travel right now is the increase in the number of people booking with travel agents across the UK. Last year has seen an increase from 34% of all holidays booked using a travel agent up to 38%. The biggest demographic change is amongst young families.
This reflects two main changes in attitudes. Firstly, people are looking for more support when booking their holidays. The world is changing rapidly at the moment and people are looking for reassurance about where is welcoming. Secondly, their experience is playing a large role when it comes to valuing customer service and advice. Travellers are increasingly looking for people and companies who will support them when they feel they need it.
Year Round Travel - more holidays are being booked off peak as customers are looking for better value holidays by avoiding peak season surges.
